Under the Queerly Beloved theme, Manchester Pride's Candlelit Vigil brought hundreds to Sackville Gardens in a solemn act of remembrance and solidarity. Held alongside the HIV charity George House Trust, the event marked the poignant close of the four-day festival by honouring those lost to the HIV epidemic and affirming a continued stand against discrimination.
