Manchester has no shortage of dark stories, and the Gothic Trail brings some of its strangest together. Created by Jonathan Schofield and the Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies, the route explores haunted pubs, medieval buildings, former burial grounds and Victorian architecture. From the grandeur of John Rylands Library to the unsettling tales of body snatchers and restless spirits, it's a different side of the city.
