Manchester Village Pride 2026 returned to its grassroots community roots under new stewardship by Manchester Village Pride CIC, reinvigorating the Gay Village as a sanctuary for LGBTQ+ lives. Framed by the ‘No Place Like Home’ theme inspired by The Wizard of Oz, the parade celebrated belonging with named activist honours—the Emerald City, Ruby Slipper, and Lion's Courage awards—marking a meaningful new chapter for the city’s landmark event.
