As Manchester Village Pride drew to a close, thousands gathered silently at Sackville Gardens to honour lives lost to HIV and AIDS. Organised by George House Trust, the vigil united communities in reflection and defiance against stigma. Voices of HIV-positive individuals, alongside creator Russell T Davies, shared stories that traced struggles and victories through decades of change.
