Manchester's giant inflatable monsters returned for Halloween in the City, taking over some familiar landmarks. Blob Gnarley waved at shoppers from above Manchester Arndale on Market Street, while Withy Ghoul stood beneath the colourful decorations at Printworks. Over at Kampus, the enormous Krampus peered over the buildings beside the canal, becoming even more imposing as darkness fell and its reflection appeared in the water.
