Manchester city centre is celebrating the milestone 10th anniversary of the MCR Monsters art trail from Saturday 24 to Saturday 31 October 2026. Organised by the Manchester City Centre Business Improvement District, this year's landmark event features 17 giant inflatable creatures taking over the rooftops of iconic hubs like Manchester Arndale, Printworks, and the Corn Exchange. The celebration anchors around the free Halloween in the City Weekender on 24–25 October, which transforms the retail heart into a massive family festival complete with the Monsters Rock! Music Festival, a new Monster Bake-Off, spooky street DJs, and a massive Walk the Plank roaming puppet procession.
