Giant eyes watched from rooftops, tentacles curled around buildings and colourful creatures appeared where Manchester least expected them. This gallery follows Filthy Luker and Designs in the Air's monster trail from daylight into darkness, taking in Selfridges, Manchester Arndale, Printworks, Corn Exchange, Depot Mayfield, Kampus and many more city-centre landmarks along the way.
